At Nursling Primary School we want to develop children’s moral, social, intellectual, physical, emotional and cultural awareness.

We provide a fun and varied education for all pupils, which encourages their maximum achievement through a wide range of purposeful, active learning situations and the development of excellent communication skills.

Through a caring and safe environment we encourage all our children to develop their, self-esteem, self-discipline, independence and therefore their confidence.

Through our Christian ethos we encourage a responsible and caring attitude to the whole environment both people and things.

We believe that  a calm, safe and friendly environment is paramount to children’s well -being and therefore their ability to learn.

We ensure that every person is valued and treated with respect and equality.

The emphasis is always on positive achievement.

Parents and the community are valued partners in the learning process.

All adults within the school community provide excellent learning role models, which demonstrates the high expectations we have.

Parents are involved in all aspects of school life and work in partnership with the school for the benefit of the children. We hold termly meetings with parents to discuss individual children's progress and send out half termly curriculum newsletters. We have an open door policy and actively seek your views to help us deliver the best education for your child.

Parents are welcome in the classroom to help with a wide range of activities, please speak to your child’s class teacher for details.

Our parent Teacher association are actively involved in raising school funds for the school and warmly welcome new members. Please see the PTA page.
